Provisions of the “MOBY CARD” Loyalty Program

This regulation was drafted pursuant to Article 6 of Presidential Decree 430/2001, letter c-bis, as implemented by Article 22.bis, paragraph 1, of Legislative Decree 91/2014, as amended by Law 116/2014.

with registered office at Via Larga 26 – 20122 Milan. 
Hereinafter referred to as TIRRENIA.  

2. Promotion name:  
“MOBY CARD”  

3. Participation period:  
April 23, 2026 to March 31, 2027.  
Closing date for prize claims: April 3, 2027.  

4. Territory of validity:  
Italy and the rest of the world.  

5. Products covered by the promotion:  
Travel on MOBY and TIRRENIA ferries, bookable through the websites of the participating companies and/or authorized travel agencies.  

6. Eligible participants:  
All natural persons of legal age who purchase tickets for passengers, vehicles or journeys on ferries operated by MOBY, and TIRRENIA and wish to participate in the promotion (hereinafter referred to as "customers"). 

7. Event Procedure and Description  
7.1 PROGRAM MEMBERSHIP: Registration for the "MOBY CARD" program is done online via the websites of the organizing companies.  
7.2 Customers can register for the event at any time via the websites of the organizing companies.  
7.3 The customer will receive a digital membership card by email containing an alphanumeric identification code and their login email address. The card can also be viewed and printed in the personal area at the following address: www.mobylines.com/mfc/app/ 
7.4 The customer can log in to their personal area on the websites of the organizing companies using their login credentials.  
7.5 Upon registration via the websites of the organizing companies, the membership card number and username/email address will be sent to the email address provided by the customer.  
7.6 The card is the property of MOBY S.p.A. If membership in the MOBY CARD program violates the applicable terms and conditions of participation, or if it is determined that the membership is being used in violation of these terms and conditions, MOBY S.p.A. reserves the right to suspend the use of the card without prior notice, revoke the customer's participation, and cancel all MOBY CARD points collected up to the time of exclusion that have not yet been redeemed, as well as any previously acquired but not yet redeemed rewards.  
7.7 The card is personal and may only be used by the cardholder.  
7.8 The customer guarantees the accuracy of the personal data provided and undertakes to notify the partner companies of any changes to this data via their websites or customer service.  
7.9 The organizers reserve the right to refuse participation in the MOBY CARD program or to exclude individuals who do not meet the requirements set forth in these terms and conditions of participation from the MOBY CARD program if it is subsequently discovered that the aforementioned requirements have not been met. This is without prejudice to any rights already acquired.  
7.10 The customer has the right to withdraw from the MOBY CARD program at any time before the membership expires. In this case, any points remaining at the time of withdrawal will be forfeited, provided the accumulated MOBY CARD points are sufficient. This does not affect the customer's right to claim and receive any applicable reward.  
7.11 Customers who were already registered for previous editions of the MOBY CARD will be automatically registered for the new edition. This does not affect the right to cancel. Please note that the personal data of users who were already registered for previous editions of the MOBY CARD was collected with their consent during their previous membership (to ensure continuity). 

8. Theft or Loss of the Card  
8.1 In the event of loss or theft of the card, the customer must report the loss or theft immediately by email to info@mobylines.de. The card will then be reissued.  
8.2 Collected points will be automatically transferred to the new card.  
8.3 If the points on the card were redeemed for rewards before it was blocked, they cannot be transferred to the new card. MOBY accepts no liability for the use of points collected up to the time the loss is reported.  
8.4 The operators are not liable for fraudulent use of the lost or stolen card before the aforementioned notification. 

9. Crediting MOBY CARD Points  
9.1 Only tickets for journeys undertaken by the customer and/or members of their household with the same last name entitle the holder to collect MOBY CARD points. The ticket holder must also be the cardholder.  
9.2 Point Calculation:

For one-way journeys:
€10 ticket value per journey, excluding taxes, ETS, fees, insurance, meals, and other surcharges.
You receive 1 MOBY CARD point.

For round-trip journeys:
€10 ticket value per journey, excluding taxes, ETS, fees, insurance, meals, and other surcharges.
You receive 1 MOBY CARD point. MOBY CARD points are rounded down to one decimal place.  

9.3 The ticket price refers exclusively to the value of the company's services in euros: passengers, vehicles, and accommodations. Taxes, ETS fees, insurance, meals, and other charges are not included.  
9.4 MOBY CARD points are calculated based on the ticket price after the journey, less taxes, ETS fees, insurance, meals, and other charges. MOBY CARD points are credited only after the journey has been completed. For tickets with multiple legs, e.g., round trips, points are credited after each completed leg. No MOBY CARD points are awarded for canceled tickets. 
9.5 When purchasing a ticket, the customer must present their membership card. For online bookings, the customer must provide the associated email address or membership card number.  
9.6 MOBY CARD points collected by different customers cannot be combined or transferred.  
9.7 Customers may not sell or exchange MOBY CARD points or rewards in any way. 
9.8 Tickets issued by Tirrenia before April 23, 2026 do not entitle the holder to the accrual of points. The initiative is not retroactive.

10. Rewards: Calculation of MOBY Card vouchers.
Collected points can be converted into MOBY CARD vouchers. These vouchers can be used to purchase tickets for MOBY and TIRRENIA according to the following conversion rate:  

2 MOBY CARD points = €1 MOBY CARD voucher value.  

MOBY CARD vouchers are rounded down to one decimal place. During the promotional period, the organizers reserve the right to award a higher point value for certain promotions, including time-limited promotions, or for the purchase of specific product and/or service categories, as well as to include additional product and/or service categories in the promotion. Customers will be informed of such offers on the websites of the participating companies. The customer's accumulated MOBY CARD point balance is displayed in the reserved area at https://www.mobylines.com/mfc/app/.  
10.1 Bonus: 
New customers receive a welcome bonus of 10 points upon registration for the loyalty program. All customers who independently change their booking online via the portal https://www.mobylines.com/mfc/app/ will also receive a bonus of 10 points.  
10.2 Exceptions:  
MOBY CARD points ("Excluded Tickets") will not be credited for non-personalized tickets purchased directly by the customer at the ticket counters in the ports of Portoferraio, Cavo, Rio Marina, Piombino, Livorno, Santa Teresa Gallura, Bonifacio, Capraia, Pianosa, Porto Santo Stefano, and Giglio for the routes Elba, Santa Teresa–Bonifacio, Capraia, Pianosa, and Giglio.  
10.3 Terms of Use and Restrictions  

  • The MOBY CARD voucher is a unique alphanumeric code sent to the customer by email. The MOBY CARD voucher is non-transferable but can be transferred to a third party by completing the corresponding form.
  • MOBY CARD vouchers are non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.  
  • MOBY notifies the cardholder of the creation of each MOBY CARD voucher. This notification is sent exclusively via email to the email address provided by the cardholder. Customers who have not updated their customer data and have not provided a valid email address will not receive a notification.  
  • A MOBY CARD voucher can be issued with a minimum value of 100 MOBY CARD points and a minimum value of €50 (excluding taxes, ETS, fees, insurance, meals, and other costs).  
  • A single MOBY CARD voucher cannot be issued for a value exceeding €500. 

11. Terms and Conditions for MOBY CARD Vouchers  
A MOBY CARD voucher is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. After this period, it expires and the points used for it will not be credited. You can use a MOBY CARD voucher to purchase tickets, subject to availability. On the Genoa–Porto Torres–Genoa and Civitavecchia–Olbia–Civitavecchia routes operated by Tirrenia, MOBY CARD vouchers can be redeemed from June 1st to September 30th, subject to availability. The MOBY CARD voucher can only be used for new bookings whose value (excluding taxes, fees, insurance, meals, and other surcharges) is at least equal to the voucher value.  
The MOBY CARD voucher is valid exclusively for services, passengers, vehicles, and accommodations (excluding taxes, fees, insurance, meals, and other surcharges). The discount granted with a MOBY CARD voucher is non-refundable. The MOBY CARD voucher can be combined with all special offers from MOBY and Tirrenia, but not with other tickets, vouchers or coupons from other promotions or offers from other organizers. 

12. Redeeming Rewards  
12.1 MOBY CARD vouchers can be redeemed until April 3, 2027. After this date, the collected points will expire and the MOBY CARD vouchers will be canceled unless the promotion is extended.  
12.2 MOBY CARD vouchers can be generated directly via the company's website.  
12.3 Customers wishing to redeem a reward must have made their payments on time at the time of redemption.  
12.4 Once the MOBY CARD voucher has been requested and issued by the cardholder, the points for the selected reward will be deducted from the balance. Remaining points are available to the cardholder and can be used for other rewards.  
12.5 Customers can change reservations on the company's website. Change fees and, where applicable, price differences will apply. From your personal account: www.mobylines.com/mfc/app/ 
12.6 If a reservation purchased with a MOBY CARD voucher is cancelled, the voucher is neither refundable nor reusable.  
12.7 Ticket terms and conditions are governed by the General Conditions of Carriage.  
12.8 The customer is required to keep copies of purchased tickets in order to compare their personal points balance with the points balance shown on their account statement. 

13. Miscellaneous  
13.1 In case of suspected fraud, registration for this promotion will be suspended and all functions will be blocked until it has been confirmed that the customer has not engaged in fraudulent activity. The organizers reserve the right in any case to conduct any checks they deem appropriate regarding the crediting of MOBY CARD points.  
13.2 MOBY may cancel any MOBY CARD points, discount vouchers, and tickets credited without authorization and inform the affected customer accordingly. 

14. Processing of Personal Data  
14.1 The personal data provided by customers when registering for the MOBY CARD program enables them to access the program. This data is processed electronically and in paper form in full compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and is stored in a database directly managed by MOBY, which guarantees absolute confidentiality (see MOBY CARD Information Notice).  
14.2 The data is stored for the period necessary to achieve the aforementioned purposes and is used by MOBY and by external parties and/or affiliated companies for administrative, commercial, or promotional purposes in accordance with legal and contractual obligations, provided the data subject has given their explicit consent.  
14.3 In accordance with Articles 15 to 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, MOBY guarantees the data subject the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to the processing of their personal data. This right can be exercised by email to privacy@moby.it or by registered mail to the following address: MOBY S.p.A., Via Larga 26, Milan.  
14.4 The data controller is MOBY S.p.A., Via Larga 26, 20122 Milan.

15. Final Provisions  
The sponsors reserve the right to amend these rules at any time, in whole or in part. Any rights already acquired by participants will remain unaffected. The amended terms and conditions will be published on the sponsors' websites and/or at participating agencies and ticket outlets. The official rules of the MOBY CARD loyalty program are available at the sponsors' offices.

17. Acceptance of the Rules  
By signing the MOBY CARD membership form, you agree to these rules.
